Urgent Prayer Requests

Late last week, Lois S. learned that she had several cancerous spots. Tomorrow she will undergo an MRI to determine the upcoming course of treatment. Two fortunate things are that (1) she will almost immediately meet with the surgeon tomorrow after the completion of the MRI and (2) it's already been determined that the cancer hasn't spread to her lymph nodes.

Please pray for Lois' complete healing and recovery...and thank you for being a praying congregation.

I would also like you to pray for Hank. Hank is the father of our friend, Bonnie, and her sister, Sherry. Hank was in the passenger seat of a car being driven by his wife three days ago. In the drive-through lane of a fast food restaurant, his wife accidentally hit the accelerator when she meant to hit the brakes. The airbags were engaged, causing Hank to hit his head on something in the car interior. Initially, he seemed fine. But then, he developed bleeding on the brain, exacerbated by his being on blood-thinner for his heart. He underwent brain surgery and now the doctors are attempting to allow clotting to developing in order to stop the bleeding while keeping the blood thin enough to cause problems with his heart. It's a delicate balance. Please pray for Hank's healing as well. [UPDATE: Hank seems to be making substantial progress.]
